The newest segment in which Asperbras Group is involved is the production of MDF (medium-density fiberboard) panels, in Agua Clara, in the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso do Sul, through GreenPlac, a largescale industrial plant created to become one of the largest in this segment in Brazil.
This industrial unit is about to enter operation and will process eucalyptus, pine and woodchip from the industrial plants located in the region of Guarapuava, in south-central Parana.
Wood waste from the local furniture factories and forests, such as branches, roots, thin logs and treetops, will be used as firewood to feed the plant’s boilers, which have a capacity to generate 10 MW of power.
Asperbras also operates in the food production segment, an area in which it is intending to expand its share in the domestic market. Presently, it has one dairy-product factory located in Itapagipe, in Minas Gerais, which occupies an area of 270,000 sq ft and uses the latest in high-technology in the manufacturing of its products, which include UHT milk sold under the Bonolat brand label. Furthermore, a new Bonolat industrial unit is under construction in Penápolis, to be inaugurated in the second half of 2018.
In 1985, Asperbras inaugurated its first factory of pipes and connectors in Penápolis, São Paulo. Today, Asperbras is one of the four largest producers of pipes and fittings in Brazil, producing more than 30,000 tons of PVC each year.
The Asperbras Group, a traditional manufacturer of PVC pipes and irrigation systems, also has rotational molding factories in Penápolis (São Paulo) and Simões Filho (Bahia) to serve the chemical, agricultural, automotive, food, construction and sanitation sectors with differentiated, high-quality products.

The Asperbras Group also operates in the branch of heavy vehicles sales. Since 2007, when it opened the first Volkswagen retail in Luanda, capital of Angola, the Group acts as a V.W. official dealer, keeping an increasing pace of trucks and buses sales in the African country. The Asperbras Vehicles is consolidated in the market due to solid and disciplined management, based on service quality and customer satisfaction.
With a modern fleet of fully-equipped Grand Caravan aircrafts, and a team of highly trained professionals, the Asperbras Group operates in the field of aero geophysical survey.
